About First Break.
First Break is a job board built by Breaking & Entering Media for one specific group of people: students, recent grads, and career changers trying to get into advertising, marketing, PR and social media.
We only list internships and true entry-level roles. No "entry-level, 5 years required." No director openings quietly slipped in. If it isn't a first job, it doesn't belong here.
How it stays fresh
Every listing runs for 14 days. On day 12 we email the employer and ask a simple question: is this still open? If they say yes, the role stays live and shows a "confirmed open" date. If they don't answer, it expires and disappears from the board.
How it stays curated
B&E reviews every submission before it publishes. We don't independently verify every claim an employer makes, but nothing goes live without a human reading it first.
