Using First Break

First Break is a curated job board operated by Breaking & Entering Media. Browsing and posting are free. No account is required for either.

What may be posted

Internships and true entry-level roles in advertising, marketing, PR and social media only. Mid-level, senior, manager, director and executive roles are not eligible. Listings must be real, open roles with an honest description and a working application link.

Every submission is reviewed by B&E before it appears. We may edit a listing for clarity or formatting, and we may reject or remove any listing for any reason.

How long listings run

An approved listing is public for 14 days from approval. On day 12 we email you a private management link so you can keep it live for another 14 days or close it early. Expired and closed listings stop appearing publicly. Keep your management link private — anyone with it can renew or close that listing.

Applications

We do not collect or process applications. Applying sends you to the employer’s own site or email, and anything you share from that point is between you and the employer.

What we don’t promise

We review listings in good faith, but we cannot guarantee that an employer, role, salary or deadline is accurate, still open, or offered as described. We do not guarantee any hire, interview, applicant volume, or uninterrupted availability of the site. Use your judgement, and tell us if something looks wrong.

Content

You keep ownership of what you submit, and you give us permission to publish and promote it on First Break and Breaking & Entering channels while the listing runs.
